Lawsuit Filed in Scooter Collision
The Portsmouth Herald reports that a lawsuit has been filed against an 18-year-old New Hampshire man who allegedly struck a 6-year-old who was riding a scooter. The child's parents are suing for medical expenses, loss of enjoyment of life, and pain and suffering. The child allegedly suffered a severe brain injury when the 18-year-old motorist failed to apply his brakes, crashing into the boy and causing him to fly into the air. According to the Portsmouth Herald, the child's parents have also filed a lawsuit against the same man on behalf of another son who witnessed the accident and became traumatized.
