McDonald's Sued for Negligence in Toilet Paper Dispenser Mishap

The Youngstown Vindicator that a lawsuit has been filed against McDonald's and one of its local operators in an incident involving a tumbling toilet paper dispenser. Over $25,000 in damages are being sought for head, eye, and neck injuries suffered by a Courtland, Ohio man who was hit by the dispenser, which loosened from the wall while the man was sitting on the toilet. According to the Youngstown Vindicator, the lawsuit accuses the restaurant company of negligent maintenance. The manufacturer of the toilet paper dispenser is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit.
