Dog Poop Ruins Aquarium Trip; Mom Seeks Damages
The Connecticut Post reports that a New York woman filed a claim against the city of Norwalk, Connecticut, alleging that a pair of shoes, along with the family outing, were ruined by her daughter's misstep into a pile of dog poop outside the garage of the Maritime Aquarium. The woman has requested a total of $100 in damages. She wants $54 from the city to compensate for the 1-year-old child's shoes, along with compensation for parking and admissions fees. According to the Connecticut Post, the Norwalk city attorney denied the claim, quipping that "poop happens."
